For the installation of indoor capacitors, the following aspects should be noted:
(1) Layered installation. The stratification of the capacitor should generally not exceed three layers, without spacers between layers, the vertical distance between the capacitor busbar and the upper frame should be greater than 0.2m; the bottom of the lower capacitor should be greater than 0.3m from the ground, and the bottom of the upper capacitor should be less than 2.5m from the ground.
(2) Horizontal installation. Usually one row, there should be more than 1.5m corridor between rows and rows, and the distance between capacitors in the same row should be greater than 0.1~0.15m.
(3) Install separately. Capacitors above 1000V should be installed in separate capacitor rooms. Do not share room with transformers or power distribution units.
(4) Wires. The incoming line of the capacitor bank can be a cable or a hard bus; the phase bus is made of aluminum; the connection of a single capacitor to the bus must be a soft wire, and no hard bus connection is required.
For the installation of outdoor capacitors, the following aspects should be noted:
(1) Installation of the gantry. Applicable to small Capacitor Banks, the bottom bracket and vertical distance should be greater than 2.5m; the vertical distance between the constant electric conductor and the ground: the capacitance above 500V is greater than 3.5m; the capacitance below 500V should be greater than 3m.
(2) Scaffolding and ground installation. The medium capacitor bank can be mounted on the scaffolding; the large capacitor bank can be mounted on the concrete floor, but the distance between the bottom and the ground should be greater than 0.4m, and there are measures to prevent small animals from invading.
(3) Installation direction. The small face of the capacitor should face the direction of the sun, and a 1.7 m high mesh fence should be installed, and a patrol channel should be set aside.
